At the end of the night in Cabo San Lucas, many partiers wind up at Squid Roe. However, not everyone begins there, since it doesn’t open until 10 p.m. and visitors don’t start arriving until about midnight. So, before the throng gathers at Squid Roe there are other popular places to go and have a good time in Cabo. At first thought going to the office in Cabo San Lucas doesn’t sound too inviting, but The Office there is a lot different than what you may be used to where you’re from. At The Office in Cabo there’s no desk, telephone, clients, co-workers, or boss. And you’re only office chair is a chair in the sand with buckets of iced beer at your side and waiters all too anxious to refill your next drink and encourage you to take a shot and mix a margarita in your mouth. Needless to say, you probably won’t get much work done this day at The Office.
Right next door to The Office is Mang’s and BillyGan’s, so you can take your pick for your afternoon drinking place. Most people, however, will be next door soaking up the sun at the Melina Hotel’s pool. This pool has a swim-up bar and is obviously Melina’s main attraction. It has a European style to it with cool music, a great atmosphere, and bungalows along the edge of the pool. At night it becomes a popular site for locals to gather and party.
